On 5 July 2025, Woodward Group successfully completed the Tough Mudder Midlands at the stunning Belvoir Castle, with several members tackling the gruelling challenge in support of the Alzheimer’s Society.

Mud, sweat and tears
Known as one of Tough Mudder’s most technically difficult events, the Tough Mudder Midlands course featured scaled-up obstacles, unexpected twists, and gruelling terrain. The course route took the team through scenic views of Belvoir Castle, a number of killer hills, and plenty of incredibly muddy tracks.
It took mud, sweat, and tears, but the guys came together with determination and enthusiasm, pushing themselves to the limit. Thanks to the generosity of colleagues, friends, and supporters, we have raised over £1,200 for Alzheimer’s Society so far.
Why Alzheimer’s Society?
Dementia is one of the biggest health and social challenges of our time. There are currently estimated to be 900,000 people in the UK with dementia, but many are undiagnosed and facing the realities of their condition alone. With the help its supporters, Alzheimer’s Society is changing that.
The charity provides vital support to those who need it most, holds decision-makers to account, and funds groundbreaking research to transform the future for everyone living with dementia.
We are incredibly proud to be donating to Alzheimer’s Society, a charity close to the hearts of many members of our team. A huge thank you goes to everyone who has supported us along the way.
